Abstract

The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) emphasizes the importance of developing transveral key competences for the evolution of academic profiles, essential for a complete professional profile. In addition to specific knowledge, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and teamwork are required for a successful adaptation to the professional world. This project proposes collaboration between students in the Pharmacy Degree program and Pharmacy and Parapharmacy Technicians to provide an early exposure to the reality of the pharmacy, distinguishing responsibilities in the proper execution of their integral job functions rather than compartmentalizing them. This approach runs in parallel with the development of their specific competencies, improving their communication and collaborative skills. It will also promote students’ critical thinking by guiding them in analyzing the current organizational model of the pharmacy while working on a simple project that inspires their entrepreneurial spirit.
