In 2016, she completed a Master’s Degree in Research in Psychology at UNED, specializing in Behavioral Psychopharmacology, Psychobiology of Addictions, and Experimental Psychology, receiving the Academic Excellence Award. She pursued her doctoral studies with an FPU contract, focusing on the effects of cannabinoids on compulsive behavior and time estimation in animal models. She earned her PhD in Psychology with international distinction in 2023. During the 2018–2019 academic year, she conducted a research stay at UNAM, enhancing her expertise in statistical analyses of time estimation and implementing animal models of pathological gambling. She has collaborated on projects studying the effects of physical exercise on alcohol consumption and the effects of alcohol on learning, spatial memory, and synaptic plasticity. Since 2023, she teaches Physiological Psychology, History, Science and Profession, Perception and Attention, and Psychopharmacology at the Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros. She also supervises undergraduate research projects in the area of Addictions. Additionally, since 2022, she serves as a tutor for Psychology of Learning and History of Psychology at the Parla and Móstoles Associated Centers of UNED Madrid Sur.
