Resumo
A study of the acute-on-chronic Hepatic Encephalopathy, has been carried out by using an experimental cholestatic model to analyse the cerebral vascular disease and cerebral metabolism of amino acids. Acute-on-chronic Hepatic Encephalopathy is a pathology, secondary to acute-on-chronic liver failure, which has not yet been well characterized and among whose etiopathogenetic factors could be used to find systemic arterial vascular disease and alterations of amino acids in the central nervous system. The main objectives of this work focus on the possible alterations of vasoactive factors in cerebral arteries and its impact on the middle cerebral artery, and the concentrations of amino acids in different brain areas and in the plasma...
