Abstract

An experimental procedure has been developed to study the dynamic free surface deformation of a liquid bridge subjected to different perturbations and it has been applied to isothermal and non-isothermal briges. The results corresponding to the isothermal liquid bridges have been successfully compared with the Euler equations predictions. On the other hand, the results obtained in non-isothermal liquid bridges coincide with the ones reached following a different experimental procedure.
