La accesibilidad en el sistema sanitario publico andaluz. El caso del distrito sanitario de Jaén

Abstract

For most people, access to any building, service or information is usually normal, however an individual user with cognitive or mobility daily faces an obstacle course which others do not suffer. The people with disabilities are vulnerable and face discrimination and sometimes even social exclusion as a result of inaccessible or hostile environment. In this context, any individual user accessibility to health centers should be a matter of priority in a country that seeks to meet a social welfare model based on non-discrimination and equal opportunities. These circumstances have motivated us to study the current situation of any individual user accessibility to buildings and premises of the Health Centers of Primary Care to the Sanitary District of Jaén.
