Estrés de rol y su influencia sobre el bienestar psíquico y físco en soldados profesionales

Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar los niveles de conflicto y ambigüedad de rol de una muestra de 357 soldados profesionales del Ejército español, así como la relación entre estos estresores y el bienestar físico y psicológico (burnout). Para ello se ha utilizado la escala de conflicto y ambigüedad de rol de Rizzo, Jouse y Lirtzman (1970), el MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory; Schaufeli, Leiter, Maslach y Jackson, 1996) para medir el burnout, y la escala de bienestar físico del OSI (Occupational Stress Indicator; Cooper, Sloan y Williams, 1988). Los resultados indican que, a diferencia de lo que esperábamos, la muestra experimenta niveles de conflicto y ambigüedad de rol moderados. Tampoco se encontraron síntomas físicos ni psicológicos preocupantes. Por último, se comprueba, en línea con la investigación desarrollada hasta el momento, la existencia de relaciones significativas entre los estresores de rol y el bienestar físico y psicológico
