Resumen
The classic test of the theory of mind (Wimmer & Perner, 1983) allows the study of the comprehension development of some mental verbs. These verbs have particular semantic and logical attributes. In the classical task, the usual questions are about to think or to believe that are intentional verbs. We designed a new task that allows research on other epistemic verbs as to remember and to know, not having an obvious mark of intentionality. 80 children between 4,5 and 5,5 (40 boys and 40 girls) were tested. Half of them were asked about beliefs and the other half was asked about memory. Results let us make some inferences about understanding mental verbs, and about differentiating between intentional and non-intentional verb comprehension. Intentionality is likely to generate more cognitive difficulty to understand and use some mental verbs
