Résumé
Field foliage moisture content measurements were correlated with meteorological fire danger indices, satellite images (NOAA-AVHRR and Landsat-TM) and field radiometry. It is observed that the DC (Drought Code), a meteorological s(/dindex of the Canadian system, as well as the indices based on the middle infrared and surface temperature (NDII, NDII and NDVI/TS), the three of which are derived from satellite data, allow us to obtain a good forecast of the moisture content of some Mediterranean species.
