Resumen

"Boston: America's Walking City" is the focus theme of the article which deals both with the way Boston is shown by its well-know n, Freedom and Black Heritage Trails-where a part of its colonial , Revolutionary and Black Heritage history is shown to visitors-and the way Boston could be understood by walking its streets. The article stresses not only how the transient character of a city is built upon such walking act ivity, performed by residents and visitors alike, but also how walks and strolls are a way of understanding, belonging and making current cities such as Boston.
