Satisfacción laboral del profesorado en 2012-13 y comparación con los resultados de 2003-04. Un estudio de ámbito nacional

Resumen

El estudio evalúa la satisfacción laboral de los profesores de Educación Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria de España en el curso académico 2012-13 sobre una muestra de ámbito nacional de 4375 sujetos, y compara estos resultados con los obtenidos en 2003-04 sobre una muestra similar de 2562 profesores. Los resultados, obtenidos en ambos casos a partir de la Escala de Satisfacción Laboral - Versión para Profesores (ESL-VP), indican, en la actualidad, una satisfacción laboral media a nivel global, pero con fuertes discrepancias en función de la dimensión y de la faceta. Comparando estos datos con los de 2003-04 se aprecia una importante caída de la satisfacción laboral de nuestro profesorado entre ambos momentos que, en términos generales, se cifra en un 23,25%. Los datos son, también, analizados en función de la etapa educativa, de la antigüedad profesional y del género y los resultados, al respecto, muestran que los profesores de Secundaria manifiestan una satisfacción laboral inferior a la de sus colegas de etapas previas, que la satisfacción laboral disminuye con el incremento de la antigüedad laboral y que las mujeres se sienten laboralmente más satisfechas que los hombres.
