Resumen

El buen gobierno de los recursos energéticos y su papel en el desarrollo de los países productores de hidrocarburos es unárea de creciente interés en la agenda global. La Unión Europea, como actor que reúne la doble condición de gran importador mundial de hidrocarburos y promotor de normas para el buen gobierno, tiene un interés especial en el desarrollo de estándares para la mejora de la gobernanza de los recursos energéticos. Este artículo analiza el papel de la UE en dicha gobernanza, distinguiendo entre sus actuaciones en el plano institucional y las implicaciones prácticas de las mismas en su suministro de gas y petróleo.
