Abstract

Adam Nash was born on the 29th of August 2000. He was the first baby who was genetically selected for saving his ill sibling. This biotechnological revolution caused an important bioethical discussion about which were the limits of the reproductive autonomy of the parents, the handling of the embryos and the exploitation of the savior sibling. This article aims to analyse whether the principle of distributive justice require the savior sibling technique to be included in the range of the National Health services.
