Zusammenfassung
The present work is a study of the poeticlanguage of the Spanish poet Gloria Fuertes. It specificallyconsiders the metrics which has been less mentioned byliterary criticism. Two types of compositions are addressed:classic verse (poetry of traditional type, or regular metric)and free verse. One of the characteristic resources ofher first type of compositions is the rupture of the metricconventions (rhyme, syllabic quantity, strophic form, etc.)by incorporating some deviating elements, usually at thetermination of the poem line.
