Resumo
The Sea Sector has a strong impact on the Spanish economy, with a significant multiplier effect on the production, the GVA and employment. It can be said that includes almost 10% of actual production, 7% of GVA generated and 6% of the national labor force. In addition, this sector is crucial in the production and national economic growth, its dimensions exceed any classical industrial sector and more than half of its sales are converted into productive inputs from other sectors.
