Abstract

Through case studies and life stories, we analyze the basis of career building and the emergence of the business idea from the condition of disability. We work with four cases on the professional/training/vital trajectories, the strengths, and the obstacles encountered. The cases are described and the stories are interwoven, presenting the entrepreneurship as an advantage for professional development, in a framework of solidarity and social support. Some keys to entrepreneurial success are concluded, highlighting forms of economic development and entrepreneurial solidarity, and demonstrating their contribution to social transformation. It is also concluded that guidance and training for entrepreneurship form a key tandem for stimulating an entrepreneurial career, and qualitative methodology is a powerful tool for reflection and personal/social transformation. These conclusions help to align inclusive policies and proposals for social, psychological, and orienting intervention from equity and social justice.
