Abstract

This article focuses on the results of the educational innovation project whose objective is the design of a questionnaire to improve the recruitment, support and monitoring of official master students by evaluating their motivation, carried out by professors from different universities and degrees. The main result has been the drafting of the content of the questionnaire, which includes the following six headings: student profile, motivation, formal aspects related to the master's degree, attractive aspects of the University (UNED) and of online teaching, content of the teachings and expectations in relation to the master's degree. The format of the questions is both open and close. The open format has especially been used to get a better knowledge about the motivation of students. Moreover, in order to involve the students in the development of the project, the questionnaire is proposed as a voluntary PEC (with a weight of .5 points in the final grade of the subject) in several subjects of the second semester of official master's degrees of the UNED, for which results are not yet available. The questionnaire is also planned to be implemented as a pilot test among the students of a master's degree at the University of León.
