Abstract

This paper aims to argue the importance of class journals as an instrument of reflection and co-reflection for the formation of practical knowledge in the students of the master's degree in Teacher Training in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Official School of Languages (UNED). The introduction, details the approaches of some experts on the reflective teaching activity, as well as the importance they give to this practice for professional development, without falling into the routine of theoretical approaches. We will emphasize the double use of the newspaper in terms of the development of the reflective, critical and investigative attitude of the student through strategies that favor reflection and coreflection. In the methodology will be presented to the 55 subjects of the investigation, as well as the procedure used to perform the analysis of the data that has revealed clarifying data regarding the objectives set. The final result confirms that the use of this instrument is an effective mechanism to develop a reflective attitude and metacognitive skills, highlighting the student's intention to achieve it.
