Resumen

Este trabajo realiza una aproximación microhistórica a un aspecto aparentemente secundario y no muy conocido de un fenómeno cultural como fue Eranos, el centro de investigación Oriente-Occidente fundado en 1933 en Ascona por Olga Froebe-Kapteyn y Carl Gustav Jung. Mientras que conocemos las contribuciones de destacados especialistas del siglo XX –sobre todo mitólogos, psicólogos e historiadores de la religión-, poco se sabe de una corriente sutil que fluyó a través de la vida de Eranos: la práctica del I Ching, el antiguo oráculo chino, como fuente de inspiración y guía, algunas veces de forma velada y privada, otras abierta y pública. Recurriendo a fuentes primarias, exploraremos el uso del oráculo en Eranos desde los años 30 hasta hoy.
