Características y requisitos del diseño de las instalaciones de edificios de gran altura

This article describes the different problems posed and the solutions required in the design of spaces occupied by the mechanical and electrical installations of these types of buildings, to ensure these are correctly established and incorporated with the global design arrangement. These buildings have a series of characteristics that have to be taken into account, particularly with respect to energy considerations and the stack effect. The article proposes a series of recommendations to be taken into account at the time of selecting the necessary systems and equipment for the correct operation of the building in terms of mechanical and electrical installations. The author provides a brief summary of the most important installations required, together with proposals for their location and the vertical and horizontal distribution of the same.
