Resumen

This paper analyzes the evolution of digital entrepreneurship in Spain and whether it is possible to develop some territories using this type of entrepreneurship. The answer we found is clear: it is impossible to create and grow new businesses since the digital world has not reached many rural Spanish areas. The case of Castilla y León is very significant since more than 15% of the population, who lives in small cities, do not have access to good Internet coverage. You cannot implement a development policy without first solving this problem.
