Abstract

The city is a changing space, a place that undergoes transformations over the years that modify the landscape, the functions and even the uses of some elements that integrate it. The components that are part of it are collected directly and indirectly in Decreto 122/2007 por el que se establece el Currículo de Segundo Ciclo de Educación Infantil en Castilla y León, and therefore, these students must know. The objective of this work is to propose a didactic proposal, using the city of Valladolid and Soria, to serve teachers in their teaching practice to work the most immediate urban space, and in particular aspects related to the landscape and locality in the who live. To do this, the didactic itinerary becomes an important resource to be able to structure in a more dynamic and attractive way these contents through the direct observation of them, using in some cases the gamification, which together with the explanations and the tasks performed In classes, will strengthen the teaching‐ learning process. It is for this reason that this work exposes the study of a series of itineraries through the center of the city, along the banks of its rivers, and through historical gardens that travel through these cities, which, although different from each other, present a series of common elements and Which will allow the students of Early Childhood Education to know their geographical area.
