Resumen
The present paper analyses the Criminal Policy measures developed in Spain in recent years. The use of Criminolog y and general crime theories is proposed to implement new measures of Criminal Policy. This theory have received strong empirical support and try to explain the general crime causes in order to supply more effective decisions on Criminal Policy programs. Among the major theories highlights that proposed by Robert Agnew «General Strain Theory». The theory focuses on negative relationships in which the individual is not being treated as he or she would like to be treated. This would cause negative emotions in individuals as anger or frustration. These emotions create pressure for corrective actions and delinquency could be an option. Agnew proposes a series of programs aimed at reducing these negative relationships and therefore the crime.
