This communication aims to reflect and to shed more light on the Stalinist political repression and the Gulag, symbolizing one of the European political atrocities in the 20th century. The study focuses on the mechanism of repression and punishment against the foreigners, in general, and some political migrations, in particular, that were received in the Soviet Union under Stalin. With this purpose, the analysis uses specialized bibliography on nature of Stalinism, the mass purges and the Gulag, as well as archival documentation and academic research on the repression against foreigners.
