Résumé
El presente trabajo analiza la introducción del concepto de crecimiento económico en la Historia Antigua, e intenta atisbar las razones de esta introducción, así como el impacto que ha tenido en el desarrollo de la disciplina y los problemas metodológicos derivados de esta circunstancia. Finalmente se propone la aplicación de la arqueología de los espacios domésticos como un posible marco de análisis para el estudio de la economía antigua.
