Abstract

This technical report makes an approach to the landslides risk in the vicinity of Villaverde del Río, for the purpose of analysing the potential risks that could affect this area and, in reaction, propose new preventive and corrective measures that could improve the safety of the village and its surroundings. The study justifies the use of traditional methods over GIS throughthe comparison of results from both methods
