Résumé

“The use of a front nutrition label (FOPL) in pre-packaged foods seems to be interesting in principle; however, it can mislead the consumer if it is based on pseudoscientific or marketing criteria. An effective policy for the health of the consumers must be based on adequate training in food and consumption, starting from school and reaching to society in general”.
