Abstract

This article addresses the relationship between different domains of perceived self-efficiency and patent aggressive behaviours. A sample of 543 school children, both from public and private education schools, 8 to 15 year old, was chosen for the study. Results bear out a significant relationship between both variables. Academic and recreational self-efficiency and asking for help were variables modulating differences in aggression. Academic self-efficiency was the variable that better predicted aggression explained variance and, to a lesser extent, self-efficiency at sport practicing.
