Resumen
Business Process Reengineering is one of the tools of management more recent. It arises at the end of the decade of the 80th, by Michael Hammer and James Champy. It must be understood like a stimulus to the change of the enterprise realities. It tries to provide solutions that allow the organizations to face the challenges that demand the clients, to the obstacle whom the competition represents and, finally, to the risk that an important change supposes in the company. As fundamental parts of the implementation of this methodology we mentioned the people, the activities and the techniques and tools.
