Resumen

The incorporation of Spanish universities to the European Higher Education Area has required changing the teaching methodologies. This change is quite more important in those subjects that were based on lectures, as it traditionally happens with some economic-related programs. In this paper we present and discuss the use of participative methodologies in teaching Spanish Economy for two years at Universidad de Murcia in the framework of an experimental program. This experience is valuable for subjects in a similar situation that are demanded to adapt their methodologies to the EHE
