Abstract
The rule of Article 541 of the LEC and its consequences regarding the registration of the seizure in the Land Registry Office are analysed, highlighting the conflict between the interest of the non-debtor spouse, but owner of assets susceptible to liability, and the interest of the creditor in satisfying his or her claim.
