Abstract

The article develops the institutional implications of the social or democratic egalitarianism. Section 1 analyses the differences between the two main strands of contemporary egalitarianism: luck-egalitarianism and social or democratic egalitarianism. Section 2 examines how those differences in the field of the principles translate into divergent models of Welfare State. Section 3 concludes.
