Résumé

The professionals in the field of industrial engineering, as a group, have a great responsibility in the exercise of their profession. The daily decision making they face can lead to optimization and sustainability of natural resources, as well as pollution that affects the entire population. In the exercise of his profession, the industrial engineer satisfies the demands of the business environment given that he has technical capabilities in organization, logistics, construction, materials, industrial safety installations, energy, etc. but it is essential that you do not lose a sustainable vision of the resources and protection of the environment demanded by today's society. Therefore, in addition to quality technical training, a complementary training in ethical values is necessary as an inherent part of the competences that must be required of graduates in industrial engineering. Establishing strategies for the integration of ethical values in training satisfies the demand of a society increasingly aware of the protection of the environment, natural resources and the most vulnerable people.
