Zusammenfassung

At present in a postmodern society we see the loss of religion in Western society if traditional religions are analysed, but the paradox is an increase in diffuse spirituality and new religious movements in which the individual creates a subjective and individual religion without rules, which means that the religious landscape is being transformed. This paper shows that the people under the age of 25 and over the age of 35 of the Autonomous Region of Murcia have nearly the same index of religiosity but a different concept of God, which in case of the former means a departure from organised religion because their God is a non-personal God-Energy. It also analyses the religious self-perception of the people of this Region, the religious and para-religious practices, and the influence of the sex and educational level on religiosity. Keywords: non-belief, spirituality, secularization, religion in Murcia
