This article shows the methodology developed and the results obtained by the UCLM 3DVC&R group regarding thermal models of building indoors using mobile robots. The document reviews the main four stages of the method: planning, data acquisition, data processing and creation of the semantic geometric thermal model. The proposed system and method have been successfully tested inside buildings at a floor level. The results are presented in a case study of 187 m2 of surface, with 5 areas connected by doors. This work is considered as a first step that leads to the creation of thermal digital twins of buildings in the engineering, architecture and construction fields.
