Abstract

In the digital millennium, the blades are high to arrogate the auctoritas in the virtual world; the epicenter of the battles that are being waged —the control of cyberspace— brings together countless (often conflicting) interests among its protagonists, which advances a new technological governance. And to this unprecedented challenge, traversed as just pointed out by antagonistic counterpoints and a multiplicity of actors, the Law must respond. The eminent jurist Moisés Barrio Andrés bravely embraces this challenge, dedicating himself precisely to this titanic work in Introduction to the Law of New Technologies, a treatise that rewrites in a hermeneutical key the basic foundations of the development of cyberspace and that anticipates the future Digital Law.
