Abstract

The main objective of this research study is to offer a systematic analysis of the fundamental aspects to be taken into consideration in all processing of personal data carried out in the field of sports law under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights. Specifically, in addition to delving into the principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency as a fundamental legal basis, the essential contours of consent as the most suitable instrument for guaranteeing the adequacy of the processing are dissected, placing special emphasis on the singularities that this presents when Public Administrations are involved.
