Résumé

Gender mainstreaming has gained importance in legal language and court ruling. However, the study of this perspective in the field of legal translation has tended to adopt a didactic approach. For this reason, this research aims at studying the impact on gender mainstreaming of the translation techniques used in the Spanish translations of the European Court of Human Rights judgments. This dissertation includes the results obtained from the legal and traductological analyses performed with different judgments in cases of discrimination against women and their translations. The final objective of this research has been to determine the translation techniques that have an impact on gender mainstreaming adopted by the ECHR in its judgments.
