Abstract

In the highly differentiated framework of European integration, the text outlines the importance of the perception of law as the result of communication processes developed mainly around the different communities of jurists. The community of jurists formed around European law coexists with communities of jurists rooted in their own national traditions; but they all share the challenge, characteristic for the European model of jurist, of preserving their relative autonomy from political arbitrariness
