Resumen
Digital competence cannot be reduced a set of skills to use the technological tools, it also in-cludes the ability to place ourselves in cyberspace as moral subjects we are. The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into school tries to consider the ethical and moral content of this key competence; moreover, the access to digital media can be an incentive for the development of moral reasoning if appropriate strategies are adopted. This article explo-res the relationships between digital competence and moral reasoning of the 6th-grade primary school students, through a mixed study involving students and teachers. Although the results do not confirm a clear relationship between the variables, some links between them were found, as well as important formative needs in the participating sample. These refer to the safe and responsible Internet use and the development of critical thinking and media literacy, which will facilitate the achievement of moral autonomy and the full development of its personality.
