Résumé

Based on empirical knowledge about the primary factors that led young basques and navarrese to join the nationalist/abertzale movement and, after a period of social learning and recruitment by the corresponding apparatus, join the ranks of the terrorist organization ETA, which had announced its end on May 4, 2018, concluding a long and bloody period in the history of Spain, a doctoral research is developed that is based on the study of violent episodes inscribed in the strategy of the armed gang from previous decades, focusing on in 2001, for the purposes of analysis in the town of Zizur Mayor (Navarra), comparing the integrating elements of the concept of terrorism with the events that happened daily in this specific population, taking into account its high standard of living, in order to determine the objective persecuted with the intimidation practiced, which was none other than a long-term nationalist program of political 4 change in the mayor's office. Once some initial results have been obtained, behaviors are explored in other, much more conflictive localities in the northern area of Navarra and with a worse sociological situation, driven by extreme fanaticism, in order to draw common conclusions based on an approximation around the profiles of the militants.
