Resumen

: This paper presents an approach to authoring in a Web-based learningenvironment with a high level description and reusable instructionalcomponents. These components have been previously categorized in a set ofknowledge domains according to their instructional, didactic and pedagogicalproperties. The design of the learning environment is carried out using adescription written in an SGML-derived language called PALO. PALO allowsdescribing a variety of instructional scenarios that can be instantiated with acertain content matter using references to the domain model. This descriptionis then turned into a Web-Based scenario by means of a compilation process.
