Motivos de denegación del reconocimiento y ejecución de sentencia extranjera en la ley de cooperación jurídica internacional en materia civil y en el espacio europeo

The work analyzes the internal regime for the recognition and execution of foreign judgments regulated in Law 29/2015, of July 30, on International Legal Cooperation in Civil Matters (LCJI). To do this, the jurisprudential criterion is taken into account, the interpretation that our courts have made regarding the different types of rebellion in the process; in addition to the issues related to the recognition and execution procedure and, specifically, the causes of denial of said procedure established in the LCJI. Finally, some touches on the topic at the European level are dedicated, specifically in Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 regarding international judicial jurisdiction, the recognition and enforcement of judicial decisions in civil and commercial matters.
