Abstract

The Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent war have revealed, in addition to the humanitarian and refugee crisis, a great economic weakness produced by the international dependence on certain strategic products: (minerals, metals, hydrocarbons...) necessary either in the high-tech industry either as in traditional industry and to produce electricity power and last but not least on raw materials for food. Cereals are the goods with the greatest social impact, because since they are basic in the diet of many countries. The rise in prices or the breaks in the supply chain generate uncertainties since they can cause famines and speculative situations with unforeseen effects on the world food chain, affecting the poorest countries to a greater extent.
