Resum
The current migratory movements occurring worldwide are reflected in nursery schools. This si-tuation demands qualified staff capable of facing current needs and challenges. The aim of this study is to assess the beliefs of professionals working in the early childhood sector in the United Kingdom regarding the cultural diversity present in their classrooms, as well as to understand the academic training on cultural diversity of the professionals working in the early years sta-ge, and to get an overview of the English educational system. For this study, a mixed-methods approach was used, employing an exploratory method. A mixed questionnaire was constructed and participated in by staff from a network of nurseries in the UK. Among the results, notable findings included the lack of training in intercultural education, the high number of underquali-fied professionals, and the positive attitude towards cultural diversity in the classrooms.
