Doctor by the UNED. Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia with the thesis An improved fuzzy system for representing web pages in clustering tasks 2012. Supervised by Dr. Víctor Fresno Fernández, Dr. Raquel Martínez Unanue.

Ph.D. in Computer Science. Teaching Assistant at the Computer Systems and Languages Department, UNED from 2007 to 2012. Afterward, I worked on data mining oriented to cyber security intelligence for almost 4 years. Next 6 years I moved to Bitergia to work as a consultant on Software Development Analytics, Open Source and Inner Source best practices, and managing customer accounts. During my first 3-4 years with Bitergia I was funded by a Torres Quevedo grant. Currently working as Lecturer at the Computer Systems and Languages Department, UNED. I have actively contributed for several years to GrimoireLab, a Free, Libre, Open Source project for Software Development Analytics: https://chaoss.github.io/grimoirelab/
