Resumen

Public and private organizations expect that computing students, coming from higher education institutions, have the theoretical and practical knowledge related with information security incidents. However in the Spanish Universities it is almost impossible to find any information security subject with real practice tools to get these competences. Trying to fill some aspects of this kind of individualized learning process, based in real practices, for information security subjects, we present in this paper a didactical system, portable, with an easy and friendly interface. When installed, allows to simulate network attacks and detect them with an IDS specially designed from a pedagogical point of view.
