Educators have a challenge to integrate technological resources in different socioeducational contexts for their development as a professional future. Given the possible network infoxication, the educator has techno-pedagogical models and types of resources to frame the advantages and avoid the inconveniences offered by the web, identifying reliable and valid resources. The training of the social educator should integrate the variety of traditional, internet-based information, collaboration and learning resources, offering students the possibility of being users and creators. The specific competences of the subject "Processes, techniques and resources of socio-educational intervention", which is intended to be achieved through the initial training of the social educator are: (1) design and develop processes of social participation and community development, (2) elaborate and managing means and resources for socio-educational intervention, and (3) promoting processes of cultural and social dynamization.
