With our study we wanted to evaluate the use of the serious game of chess as a resource for learning mathematics. In addition, it has seemed important to us to investigate the use of digital or non-digital games by adolescents as a support for learning mathematics. We have taken into consideration the opinion of students (questionnaires) and mathematics teachers (interviews), to develop a mixed methodological proposal.
