Adriana Kiczkowski is an Associate Professor at the UNED. She holds a BA and a PhD in English Philology from the UNED (Spain). She has taught at different universities in Spain (Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Isabel I). She has been a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina-Greesboro, USA, and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. One of her current research lines is Gender, Science and Culture. She was part of the research project: “Epistemologías híbridas: Cuerpos, biometrías y ensamblajes” (PID2019-105428RB-100). The results of her work were presented in different international forums, and she has been a guest speaker at the Center for Women Studies, Wake Forest University, USA, 2017, and at the Seminario de Arte, Ciencia y Tecnología, Universidad Autónoma de México, 2018. Another of her lines of research is related to the literary representations of Terrorism and Glocalization, with particular attention to “Post-9/11 literature”. The results have been reflected in articles, book chapters, and various conferences, in addition to her Ph.D. thesis. Publications: “Glocalization in Post-9/11 literature.
