Degree in History and Law from the University of Murcia, PhD in European Tax Law from the University of Bologna, Italy, and PhD in Ancient History from the University of Murcia. Currently professor in the area of Financial and Tax Law. His research work is developed especially in Financial and Tax Law, historical-legal studies, international taxation and comparative law. His research is marked by a strong scientific interdisciplinary approach. Among his main research, we can highlight several book chapters on constitutional history, articles, conceptual history, on juridical-political concepts in Saint Augustine, or the interrelation between juridical and theological categories. He currently has more than fifty publications, including the recent monograph "En busca del paraíso perdido: los paraísos fiscales hoy", "El trust: herramienta de elusión fiscal"; artículos como "Brexit y la fractura del statu quo" or "Fiscalidad y desglobalización en un mundo crecientemente unilateral". In the field of teaching his experience is particularly broad, both in the breadth and diversity of subjects he has taught, as well as in the diversity of centers in which he has developed it. He has participated in different courses, conventions, conferences and round tables. He has performed management tasks, member of quality commissions, various tasks of university management, has developed functions as a legal advisor and archeology and has made various stays in centers in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Ecuador. His training shows his vital commitment to an interdisciplinary education, based on the close relationship between History and Law as historical and social phenomena, which allows the analysis of different philosophical-historical-legal phenomena from a broad spectrum perspective. In this sense, his trajectory manifests in the applicant an unequivocal committed university vocation of a markedly interdisciplinary character.
